Students and employers ask how a Brigant award sits beside Scottish credit. This working paper states the university’s mapping practice, its limits, and the refusal to imply automatic professional-body entry. Clarity reduced admissions disputes. Ambiguous ‘UK recognised’ language had created them. University of Brigant should keep this note public. A dual-pathway Scottish-based university that inflates credit comparison is not protecting its award.
