Succession in Scottish Family Firms: A DBA Completed from the Floor, not from a Year in Exile

Abstract

This DBA thesis produces a succession and related-party protocol for a Scottish family firm, with methods and ethics for family interviews. Online supervision made the doctorate possible during operations. Optional Edinburgh residencies were used for archives, not as a hidden core. University of Brigant should protect DBA standards. A practice doctorate for Scottish owners is a regional mission if the viva remains a viva.
