This identity acts as the primary master key for all Single Sign-On (SSO) services, including the Student Portal, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Claude Pro (Education), ChatGPT Plus (Education), and Adobe Creative Cloud.

The IT Helpdesk operates a seven-day global support service to assist students across Edinburgh, UK and worldwide online cohorts with password resets, MFA hardware token binding, software installation troubleshooting, and licence renewals.
