Brigant Business School Publishes 2026 Global Sustainable FinTech Index
The School of Business at the University of Brigant has published its annual Global Sustainable FinTech Index, detailing how algorithmic compliance and distributed ledger technology are reshaping international carbon offset markets.
The report, co-authored by Dr. Hamish Campbell and visiting research fellows from Zurich and Frankfurt, analyses transaction data from over 450 institutional funds. Key findings highlight that automated carbon credit auditing reduced verification costs by 48% while preventing duplicate issuance claims.
"Transparency is the essential currency of the green transition," Dr. Campbell explained during the launch webinar. "By integrating verifiable machine-learning audits into bond issuance, capital markets can deploy billions toward credible net-zero infrastructure."
The full report, dataset, and executive briefing are freely available for academic and institutional download through the Brigant Digital Repository.
