University of Brigant Welcomes Autumn 2026 Cohort Across Edinburgh Campus and Global Digital Classrooms
The University of Brigant opened its 143rd academic year today with its historic Autumn Convocation. Vice-Chancellor Alistair Stirling addressed students gathering in person at the Edinburgh Assembly Hall and thousands attending via the interactive Global Portal.
This year's matriculating class represents 114 countries, with record enrollments in Advanced Computer Science, Sustainable Finance, Global Law, and the tuition-free Online Master of Business Administration.
"Whether you study at our historic Lady Lawson Street campus in Edinburgh or connect daily from Singapore, Lagos, Toronto, or Cairo, you are equal scholars in the Brigant academic community," remarked Vice-Chancellor Stirling. "Our commitment to rigorous scholarship, open access, and ethical leadership remains unchanged since our founding in 1883."
Term 1 lectures commence Monday, supported by extended 24/7 digital library access and international peer study pods.
